God’s Upcoming Holy Fall

Every year, God gives His people special opportunities to draw closer to Him.

These are not holidays created by man. They are God’s appointed times—holy days He established to remind His children of His faithfulness, His provision, and His desire to bless those who walk in loving obedience to Him.

This is a God-moment…

a miracle-moment. Maybe as you read this, you’re carrying something heavy—a health need that hasn’t turned around yet, financial pressure that keeps growing, a marriage or family relationship that needs healing, or perhaps a dream that feels like it has died.

I want you to hear this from my heart: God is not finished. He specializes in NEW BEGINNINGS, and I believe with all my heart that whatever this year has held for you so far, He is about to do a new thing.

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth…” (Isaiah 43:18–19). Whatever need you are carrying… whatever promise you are believing for… whatever miracle you are praying to receive…

I believe God can use this upcoming Holy Fall Feast Season as your NEW BEGINNING.

A sacred season. As we approach the Jewish New Year of Rosh Hashanah—a time of new beginnings and a divine reset—I want to walk you through exactly why this season matters so much to God… and why it can matter so much for you.

Beginning with the blowing of the trumpet heralding in Rosh Hashanah at sundown on September 11, through the Day of Atonement beginning at sundown on September 20, you are invited into one of the most sacred seasons on God’s calendar. God’s feast days or holy days of the Old Testament are to be celebrated forever.  I believe they still reveal powerful spiritual principles that can deepen our walk with Jesus and position us to receive through our obedience all that God desires to pour into our lives.

The Day of Atonement, or Yom Kippur, was the one day each year when the High Priest entered the Holy of Holies to make atonement for the people. Today, because of the finished work of Jesus Christ, we no longer bring animal sacrifices. Jesus became our perfect and eternal sacrifice once and for all.

Yet while the sacrifice has been fulfilled in Christ, the principles of gratitude, worship, repentance, generosity, and honoring God remain just as relevant today. One of the clearest examples is found in Deuteronomy 16:16–17, where God instructed His people concerning these holy days: “No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed. Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the Lord your God has blessed you.”

A season to give thanks. Notice what God emphasized. His people were to come before Him—not reluctantly, not out of obligation, but with thankful hearts, bringing an offering that reflected His goodness and blessing in their lives. I have discovered many times that this principle still transforms lives today.

Throughout Scripture, whenever people honored God in faith and obedience, He responded with His blessing. Several of my favorite promises are found in the book of Joel. After calling His people to return wholeheartedly to Him, (“Blow the trumpet…” Joel 2:15)

God declared seven remarkable blessings that continue to encourage believers today.

Honoring God on His Day of Atonement Can Release Seven Specific Blessings

• A Double Portion (Joel 2:23)

• Financial Overflow (Joel 2:24)

• Restoration of What Was Lost (Joel 2:25)

• Miracles Happen (Joel 2:26)

• Divine Presence—Jesus Himself (Joel 2:27)

• Increased Revelation (Joel 2:28)

• Deliverance from What Is Holding You Back (Joel 2:32)

I encourage you to read these promises for yourself! As I prayed for you, I felt impressed to invite you to join me again this year. Give your best. As you honor the Lord in obedience with your best Day of Atonement offering, I believe He can release fresh healing in your spirit, soul, and body… restore what the enemy has stolen… bring renewed peace to your family… and remind you that He is still the God of miracles, the God of NEW BEGINNINGS!

The LORD also put into my spirit to share with you Amos 9:13. It declares from the Message Bible:

“Yes, indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s decree. “Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other… Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings!”

I can’t speak to what your Atonement offering may be. For some, it may be $9.13. For others, $91.30. Yet for still others, perhaps $913.00 or more. Whatever the amount of your seed for your Atonement offering to honor God, make it your best. 

I will agree with you. I would love to pray over your Day of Atonement offering personally… and that is why I encourage you to honor the Lord during this sacred season. When you do, you are declaring: “Lord, everything I have comes from You. I trust You with my future because You have always been faithful in my past.”

That is why every year I personally set aside a special Day of Atonement offering before the Lord. Not because I have to… But because I have witnessed His faithfulness over and over again.

As you pray about your own Day of Atonement offering, I encourage you to ask the Holy Spirit what He would have you do. Whatever He places in your heart, simply obey Him.

Remember what you were carrying when you began reading  — that need, that heartache, that dream? 

Together, in faith, you and I are going to agree for your NEW BEGINNING.

Just this week, a woman sowed a seed of $931 in faith for the release of money due her that she desperately needed. The very next morning, she received notification that the money she sowed and believed for was released. Praise the LORD! That is exactly the kind of miracle our God still performs today. Miracles truly happen!

Thank you also for helping me take the healing power of God to the 4 corners of the earth. Together we are seeing lives healed… Families restored… People saved… and countless miracles that only God could receive the glory for.
